An amphibious wheelchair both well-designed and sturdy...

The Tiralo is built with carefully selected materials.

The chassis is made of aluminum and stainless steel. It has a maximum user weight capacity of 130 kg and is rustproof.

The seat is made of a non-allergenic nylon fabric. Its ventilated structure retains neither sand nor water.

Its armrests are made of molded plastic and act as floatation devices. The two front handles make it more comfortable, and the two rear handles are used to maneuver the Tiralo in water.

Low pressure wheels add to its buoyancy. They have no roller-bearings and do not get jammed in sand.

The Tiralo is easy to care for. After use, simply rinse off with fresh water and fold.

It is collapsible, making transport and storage easy (138 cm x 105 cm x 37 cm). The Tiralo weighs 25 kg.

Tiralo

The Tiralo is a wheelchair designed for the beach for people with reduced mobility. It is an amphibious wheelchair which enables the user to move along the ground and float in the water without any modifications to the wheelchair. Thanks to the Tiralo, a person with a disability who is accompanied can now access the beach more easily, and enjoy bathing in calm waters. It is increasingly available on beaches with the Handiplage label, near hotels and campgrounds which offer disabled access in the context of accessible tourism and recreation for all.
