A floating wheelchair for bathing which is both simple and practical

The Tiralo is a towable wheelchair which is very easy to handle. It moves much more easily than “pushed” wheelchairs, even on unpaved or uneven terrain. Its low-pressure wheels act as shock absorbers, and with handlebars connected to the steering wheel a single person can steer it up access ramps, sand or gravel.
The passenger sits comfortably in an ergonomic wheelchair, between two removable armrests which also serve as floatation devices. The height of the seat is half that of a standard wheelchair, and its special <- > design makes it easier for the passenger to change positions (beach <- > Tiralo <- > wheelchair <- > car).
Its adjustable armrests, which can be raised to allow the passenger to get in or out, ensure proper flotation and stability once in the water.
Thanks to the quality of the material used and its light structure with rounded shapes, the
Tiralo is comfortable and can be used for long periods of time. The seat, made of non-allergenic fabric, hugs the shape of the passenger's body and allows sand and water to filter out.
After use, simply rinse the Tiralo with fresh water and fold. The wheels and floatation devices are easy to assemble and disassemble without tools.
The Tiralo can be easily transported and stored.

The Tiralo is a wheelchair designed for the beach for
people with reduced mobility. It is an amphibious wheelchair which enables the
user to move along the ground and float in the water without any modifications
to the wheelchair. Thanks to the Tiralo, a person with a disability who is
accompanied can now access the beach more easily, and enjoy bathing in calm
waters. It is increasingly available on beaches with the Handiplage label, near
hotels and campgrounds which offer disabled access in the context of accessible
tourism and recreation for all.
